Wrinkle fillers are a safe and immediate option for treating wrinkles around the eyes for dark circles, around the mouth, lips, nasal labial folds (corner of the nose to the corner of the mouth) and marionette lines (or jowls). Unlike collagen in the past, which required a 30-day allergy screening, modern day fillers are hypoallergenic and often comprise of naturally occurring substances within your skin (i.e. hyaluronic acid). Since your body already has hyaluronic acid, it doesn't try to break it down as quickly as old-fashioned collagens, therefore filler treatments last much longer than before. Depending on your metabolism, type of filler and amount used, filler treatments last typically last four to nine months.
